Sesame Halva


  • 1 cup sesame seeds, toasted – ground fine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. pistachios, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. honey


  1. Combine sesame seeds, spices, raisins, and honey in a coffee or spice grinder. Pulverize into a thick paste and spread onto silipat in a thin layer.  Let rest for 2 hours or more.  Cut into various shapes for topping.
